Will a blank fender replacment neck fit my squire affinity stratocaster?

i got a new two piece maple neck for my squire affinity strat. im wondering if it will fit? will it be too big? do i have to sand the back of the neck down to make it not as tall?

it should fit since squire is just a branch of fender. i don%26#039;t know for sure, but it seems right for it to fit since they are basically the same.

Yeah, as long as the neck is a licensed fender neck- this doesn%26#039;t mean it is made by fender, many companies build necks to Fender%26#039;s specs. There was a brief time, I think in the early 70%26#039;s that the necks were bolted by 3 screws as opposed to the much more common 4 bolt neck. As long as you have the right bolt holes, you shouldn%26#039;t have to file a thing.
Reply:Anything fits on anything. The problem is that it will be out of tune with no intonation and no way to adjust the harmonics either.





The neck has to be the exact size as the one you are replacing or you will never get it in tune.





Their isn%26#039;t much play at the bridge to fully adjust an odd size neck.





Thick before buying one.
